1. How long does it take for sea and air transportation respectively? Will there be delays during Ramadan or holidays?
A: Sea transportation takes 30 to 45 days (full container or LCL), and air transportation takes 7 to 15 days (direct flights are preferred). During Middle Eastern festivals such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, the port processing efficiency decreases. It is recommended to place orders 15 days in advance to avoid peak congestion.
2.Is disassembly required? How can we ensure it won’t be damaged during transportation?
A: For air transport, disassembly is necessary (separate the seat cushion and the frame), and it will be wrapped with EPE foam in layers and positioned with mortise and tenon hot melt adhesive to ensure it can be restored without damage. For sea transport, it will be shipped as a whole, with thickened wooden frames and moisture-proof films on the outer boxes, and reinforced at the corners to prevent collision.
3.What documents are needed for customs clearance in the Middle East? Will there be any additional tariffs?
A: No, all customs clearance, declaration, tariffs and procedures will be handled by us. The logistics will be directly delivered to your home.
4.The climate in the Middle East is hot. Is the sofa fabric heat-resistant and colorfast?
A: The leather is tanned without chromium and is resistant to UV fading. The fabric is treated with a nano anti-stain coating and can withstand temperatures up to 50℃. The frame is made of Russian pine (with a moisture content of 8%-12%) to prevent cracking and deformation.
5.Does the sofa design conform to the customs of the Middle East? Can it be customized in dark colors?
A: We offer traditional color schemes such as dark brown and golden coffee, and various other colors are also available. High-back styles are available (suitable for the habit of sitting cross-legged); we do not use animal image carvings and support customizing geometric Islamic patterns.
6. How to handle transportation damage or quality issues? What is the warranty period?
A: Inspect and take photos of the goods within 7 days of arrival as evidence. Damaged items will be replaced free of charge. The frame is warranted for 5 years and the fabric for 2 years. In special cases, on-site repair services can be arranged.
